Tin Zinc is designed to produce a highly corrosion resistant coating. Tin/Zinc is among the most readily solderable coating because it is the critical component of almost all solders. Not only does the electrodeposited Tin alloy with solders, but also alloys with most base metals. The result is a superior metallurgic bond, which provides extended shelf life with minimal degradation of solderability. The bath has both rack and barrel capability. An Iridescent chromate conversion coating can be applied easily to enhance appearance and corrosion resistance.

Tin/Zinc is used on fasteners for electrical grounding and other electrically conductive components, when these elements are used in corrosive environments. The deposit can tolerate considerable severe secondary processing because of its superior ductility.
